What’s Been Happening Behind the Scenes

It’s been a while since I last posted here — and that’s mostly because life and projects have been moving fast in the background.

After publishing my memoir, Now What, I started FirstAidPM as a place to share lessons, thoughts, and tools from my years in project management. What began as a side blog slowly turned into something more, a space to reflect on how projects actually feel when you’re in the trenches, not just how they look in a methodology guide.

But over the past year, another idea started to take shape. I wanted to build something practical — something that helps small businesses and freelancers stay on top of their work without needing a corporate-sized budget or an IT department. That idea became Flinto.

Flinto is a cloud-based app for small businesses, designed around simplicity, clarity, and transparency. I’ve been spending a lot of time designing, testing, breaking, and refining — trying to make it the kind of tool I’ve always wished existed. It’s still in development, but it’s getting close to feeling right.

So, if things have seemed quiet here at FirstAidPM, it’s because I’ve been deep in building mode, learning, adjusting, and creating something I believe will really help. Once Flinto is ready for more eyes, I’ll share it here first.

In the meantime, thanks for reading, for being curious, and for sticking around.

Edwin
